At Viles and Beckman we enjoy recognizing the members of our team who embody our core values to go above and beyond in their roles. That is why we are thrilled to announce that our Employee of the Month for August is our litigation case manager, Devan Gallow.
Devan joined our team only five months ago and, in that time, she has used her years of experience in the legal profession to make a profound impact on her team and her clients. Before joining our team Devan has experience in customer service, legal assistance, and paralegal mastery, and she brought that experience to our firm and used it to improve our litigation processes. Devan embodies the Viles and Beckman 5-Star Promise with her commitment to being client-focused, going above and beyond to provide empathetic assistance to her clients. She takes a client’s circumstances into account in her handling of each case from the moment a lawsuit is filed through to when a case is disbursed.
Devan showed mastery of her role from the beginning, stepping into our litigation team and immediately working with our paralegals and litigation attorney to obtain settlements for her clients. She is committed to teamwork, handling not only her own caseload, but also assisting our pre-suit team with their cases. Devan has been a champion of betterment for the firm, training our whole case management team on her results-driven lien resolution process to maximize our clients’ recovery. She drives her time to get the best results while driving our firm’s culture with her positive attitude and determination. She seamlessly fit into our close-knit litigation team from the beginning.
Devan is all-in on making a difference in our community, both in the office and through her community service efforts. Devan has participated in multiple firm community service days. She is fully committed to our Vision by being “the cornerstone of advocacy, generosity, and exceptional service, to change lives in the communities we serve.” She was able to embrace her passion for helping others immediately by volunteering at the Community Cooperative on only her third day of onboarding at the firm.
She embraces our value of being family-first by bringing her family to serve the families of Southwest Florida through the Viles and Beckman Foundation bookbag drive. When not meticulously organizing client files, she spends time with her husband and three children, cooking or cheering on her home state team, the Denver Nuggets.
