Attorney Andrew Barnett joins the Viles & Beckman team with a legal background in civil litigation, criminal litigation, and estate planning. Andrew sincerely enjoys practicing law and appreciates that his passion allows him to help clients with what may feel like insurmountable problems. He feels most rewarded when he’s able to make a difference in someone’s life.
Before law school, he was a realtor and real estate appraiser. He also worked as a regulatory analyst for a power company where he assisted with connecting electric generating plants to the power grid and worked in everything from garbage collection to hammock weaving during his college years.
Andrew met his wife in Law School and relocated to Fort Myers after passing the bar exam. She currently works at the public defender’s office, and they enjoy paddle boarding together in their free time. Andrew has recently become a father to a beautiful little girl named, Lorin, who now takes up most of that free time.
